Abenteuer Allrad 2023
Sven Walther
When it comes to expedition vehicles, the Abenteuer Allrad in Bad Kissingen is undoubtedly a highlight every year.
At the expo itself, you can find almost all manufacturers of expedition vehicles, as well as countless inspirations for the “small details.” It’s hard to imagine how many like-minded enthusiasts gather here (Bad Kissingen regularly collapses under the visitor pressure).
But in my opinion, the camp area is even more exciting. Here, you’ll find all sorts of vehicles and their owners. This is where you learn about reality—what works, what doesn’t, and what creative solutions exist.
Pictures, Pictures, Pictures
Here are a few impressions from the expo and the camp area:
A Zetros is always impressive but unfortunately impractical
Many travelers know each other and form wagon forts
The MAN KAT I and its successors can go anywhere. Unfortunately, they are neither comfortable nor fuel-efficient. But they are still awesome…
The idea of a terrace at the rear is especially common in converted old delivery trucks with a liftgate. However, an alcove is very rarely seen due to articulation/off-road capability
The camp area is also a huge used market
World maps and compass roses are popular motifs
A Arocs is always eye-catching
Quads are also quite popular as auxiliary vehicles
If money were no object, then this Mercedes Arocs 6x6 would be the one
A size smaller as 4x4
Three beauties in one spot
This gives a good impression of the scale
Another Mercedes for sale
Another vehicle for sale
This one would have even been from our area (Berlin)

Action Mobil always has quite impressive vehicles
Even for a 6x6, a giant
