Constantly up and down
We have reached our destination for the holidays and are now in Lisbon. On a “proper” campsite for the first time in a long while - and from here we explore the city on foot.

Anyone who knows Lisbon knows: it is constantly up and down. No wonder, then, that there are funiculars and lifts right in the middle of the city.
Nothing here is really flat
The funiculars have sadly been out of service since a serious accident last year. As a photographic subject they are still beautiful.

The real reason
The actual reason for coming to a big city, though, is the airport. For Christmas we fly to the Allgäu to visit our daughter - and get a genuinely white Christmas there.
Between the holidays
And Lou? After fifteen years she has officially become a flying dog.
