Season 2 is officially underway - and this time we are heading north.
Our first stop takes us to the home of the Camping Caravan Podcast in the Eckernförde region. Naturally we used the chance to meet Marco and Jörn in their natural habitat.

With Mammothon parked in front of the kindergarten we are presumably the talk of the village for the week. An expedition truck this size does not exactly go unnoticed.

Hello Denmark, hello Aarhus. With that, the next chapter of our Scandinavian trip begins.
While I visit a client on site, Saskia heads for the old town and sets off exploring on her own.

We had only intended to stay a few days. But our campsite south of Aarhus won us over immediately. Sometimes you can tell within a few hours: we do not want to move on yet. So we extended on the spot.

Vejers Strand
Sometimes these things just take a while. Somehow, in Morocco, we genuinely managed not to take a single proper beach photo with Mammothon. We make up for that now in Vejers Strand.

Afterwards we stay a few days on a wonderfully quiet campsite right in the dunes. Our pitch is at the very top of the dune - reachable only with four-wheel drive.

From there we have a superb view over the landscape and are only a few steps from the sea.
