Onwards through the Norwegian mountains. We spend the last night on another free Nortrip pitch. In return we restock our supplies with produce straight from the farm. It is exactly this combination of special places and local producers that appeals to us.

The next short stop takes us to Stryn. We were here ten years ago as well - and the lake has lost none of its beauty.

Trollstigen
Two Norwegian highlights in a single day. One place we had always skipped on our previous trips to Norway is the Trollstigen. This time it is finally happening.

First, though, the route takes us to Geiranger. The drive there is demanding: countless tight hairpins, steep sections and, on top of that, plenty of coaches ferrying cruise passengers to the viewpoints. In Mammothon you stay focused.

Having driven the hairpins down into Geiranger and back up the other side, the Trollstigen itself finally follows.
